Meet our Board of Directors:

PRESIDENT, Board of Directors Michelle Myre, Founder Mrs. Myre has been a Partner and the Administrator for OM Originals Design in Longview, Washington since 1998. She is in charge of marketing, overall customer satisfactions, curriculum development, outreach through educational seminars, assisting with the accounting and billing system and payroll.
Prior to working at OM Originals Design, she was a music educator with the Longview School District and was responsible for grades 6-12 choral music curriculum at Monticello Middle School & RALong High school, and created, implemented and facilitated a new Jazz Vocal Class. She produced 5-8 major vocal music concerts each year and managed, produced and successfully implemented two yearly fundraising events. She provided leadership, skills, and talent in national and local voice competitions and won several honors. She also assisted with State Solo and Ensemble Competitions, Musical Direction of local musicals and provided private vocal lessons.
Just recently, in 2007, Michelle and her husband purchased a local community newspaper - the Valley Bugler. A new venture in life, this allows Michelle to interact with clients and to promote positive and good news through the paper. A beloved paper of the community, Michelle is proud to act as publisher/salesperson and editor all in one!
Music & Education & People are her specialties, so God is stretching her with Spirit Fire! She is humbled at the vision that God has given her with Spirit Fire, and is excited to see where God will guide the organization!
Concurrently within her professional and personal life, Michelle's combined service and mission outreach development include youth counseling, Baby Food Network founder, Bible study leader, short term music missionary to Philippines, short term youth missionary to Chicago, and various community outreach missions.
Michelle enjoys her children, reading, family, learning new things, playing with her two daughters and hubby, and taking vacations to new and interesting locales and cultures.
VICE PRESIDENT, Board of Directors / Artistic Director Oscar Myre IV, Founder
Oscar is a web guru who enjoys running and working on his computers. Never afraid to make a statement, Oscar's hair is renown for its "unique-ness". Always hungry for the Lord, Oscar enjoys prayer walking, daily studies and personal interaction with the Lord.
Professionally, in 1996, Mr. Myre, LLC founded his own website and graphic design firm, OM Originals Design in Longview, Washington, and it has grown proportionately ever since. Previous to owning his own business, he was a Partner in a Screen-printing business from 1994-1996 and concurrently has been the President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer of a local Business Network International office from 2000-2004.
Spiritually and Personally, he has been a Disciple in Father’s House Church since 2000, did a short-term mission to Manila in the Philippines, led a new Home Group which targeted young adults and served as a youth leader for an inner-city Chicago mission.
He is a four-year letter winner in Track and Field in Distance Medley Relays and has been an active member on the Marketing Committee for his Chamber of Commerce’s Round Table.
Educationally he graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington with a BA in Fine Arts in 1997.
He is the proud father of two and a loving and devoted husband.
SECRETARY, Board of Directors Toni Reich
Toni is a 6th grade teacher at an Elementary School. She enjoys playing with her granddaughter and visiting with family and friends. Her attention to detail and wonderful servant's heart help keep Spirit Fire Center organized.
Antoinette (Toni) L. Reich has a BA in Education from Central Washington University with degrees in Music, Sociology, and Professionalized Subjects. She has done graduate work at University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University. She has over ten years experience as the Office Administrator for a mid-sized church in a metropolitan area. Ms Reich was a board member for the ecumenical Volunteer Ministry Resource Network for over three years. She also served on Gustavus University's Northwest Board for Church Secretaries as the Regional Director and Conference leader and awarded outstanding commendations. Ms. Reich has over ten years experience as the case manager for crisis intervention clients, working closely with social service agencies; served on church councils, President of Christian Women's group and Keynote speaker, and extensive experience in servant projects.
Ms. Reich has over twenty-eight years experience as an educator at all academic levels, worked with Bellevue Community College's International Programs English Language Institute as Student Advisor, Cultural/Education Director for short stays, Business Outreach, Community and Intensive programs.
She is blessed with a husband, three adult children, son-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters. She enjoys reading, traveling, strolling the ocean beaches, and spending precious time with her family.
MINISTRY COORDINATOR, Board of Directors Jim Bass
Jim served as a Youth Pastor for 19 years before becoming a senior pastor in 1988. He is one of three founding pastors who in 1996 merged their churches together to form a new church called Fathers House. Jim has been a leader in the City Church in the Longview/Kelso area for the past 18 years. Currently Jim heads up a ministry in the Longview/Kelso area called the Pastoral Care Center. This is a prayer ministry which helps people deal with the woundedness of their past. There is also a great emphasis on healthy marriages and families. Jim serves on the board of the Ministry Training Center, a post high school educational organization formed to help train and encourage those who would like training in a variety of ministry opportunities in the local church. He also serves as the Applied Ministries Dean for the Pastoral Care center.
In his spare time, Jim enjoys traveling and spends time each year in Israel. TREASURER, Board of Directors Ted Shay, Interim Treasurer Ted is a kind gentleman who has served in the military for many years. Retired, and an avid walking fiend, Ted enjoys people and different cultures.
DIRECTOR, Shawn Huntley Shawn is the past Executive Director for a nonprofit organization called ADC Pathways to Employment, whose mission it is to join together and help change lives, one job at a time. Under her tireless guidance and expertise, sweat and tears, ADC is a largely successful nonprof that contributes necessary employees for the community in unique jobs and other volunteer services. She has recently accepted a new job as Regional Director for a large nonprofit in Spokane, called NOVA.
Shawn has a wonderful dog, Digby, who is a joy to bring to work and play with. Digby has many admirers, and there's no surprise there - Digby is gorgeous!
Shawn enjoys Bible Studies, lots of caffeine and getting things done right. She is looking forward to a new adventure in Spokane, and will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for Spirit Fire Center.
